FAQ

  • I am interested in a course. How do I find out more?
You may direct all enquiries to our admin via whatsapp 88020538, or email them to dga.enquiry@gmail.com and we will reply as soon as we can :)
  • Must my daughter be flexible to do gymnastics?
No, you do not need to be naturally flexible. It is important to also develop strength and do consistent stretching to attain your goals. More importantly, you must adopt the correct mindset and work closely with your coaches!
  • What is the youngest age to start gymnastics?
Our youngest gymnast is only 3 years old! Arrange for a trial to see if our tots/kinder class is suitable for your child, our dedicated coaches are there to provide advice.
  • I am 27 years old, am I too old to do gymnastics?
Not at all! We have suitable recreational adult Rhythmic Gymnastics classes (even adults above the age of 40 have attended), and did you know that we also had 27-year-olds competing at the Aesthetic Group Gymnastics World Cup and World Championships in 2019? It's never too late to start :)
  • How do I arrange for a trial for my child, and what do I need to prepare?
If you are keen to arrange for a trial for your child, our friendly Admin will be there to guide you. Simple drop us a whatsapp text at 88020538 and we will guide you on the suitable schedule/timings. Come suitably attired in tight-fitting tank top and tights, and bring along your bottle!
  • Now that I am a DGA student, are there items I need to purchase?
Yes, as part of the registration package you will be receiving a DGA shirt but you will still need to purchase a set of training attire (including gym shoes, DGA tank top and black tights). Your coach will also advise you which apparatus you need to purchase (e.g. rope/ball/hoop/clubs/ribbon). Additionally, competitive gymnasts will purchase ankle weights, stretch band and DGA Windbreaker for competitions.
  • How do I stay updated with DGA happenings?
We will provide updates on upcoming events and competitions to all of our parents and students through a dedicated Whatsapp broadcast chat group. If you have any enquiries, do not hesitate to drop our Admin a message to find out more! Alternatively, you may sign up for our newsletter below to stay updated.
